La edicion de 2019 de las Normas minimas para la proteccion de la ninez y adolescencia en la accion humanitaria (NMPNA) es una ventanilla unica para todos los recursos mas recientes sobre proteccion de la infancia. Las NMPNA tienen como objetivo fortalecer la calidad y la responsabilidad en los programas de proteccion de la infancia y mejorar los enfoques multisectoriales para la seguridad y el bienestar de los ninos y adolescentes. Esta nueva edicion refuerza el enfasis en los principios, la evidencia y la prevencion, y aumenta su aplicabilidad en contextos relacionados con refugiados y brotes de enfermedades infecciosas. Las normas de las NMPNA se agrupan en torno a cuatro pilares: garantizar una respuesta de calidad en proteccion de la infancia, comprender los riesgos, desarrollar estrategias adecuadas y trabajar en todos los sectores. Ya sea para planificar una respuesta rapida o para buscar formas de mejorar el bienestar de los ninos y adolescentes durante una crisis prolongada, el manual proporciona acciones clave, indicadores y notas de orientacion sobre una variedad de enfoques, asi como enlaces a recursos adicionales. El manual debe ser utilizado por actores humanitarios (incluidos los grupos comunitarios, organizaciones no gubernamentales, personal gubernamental, responsables politicos, donantes y aquellos que trabajan en la promocion y en medios de comunicacion) asi como estudiantes e investigadores. La Alianza para la proteccion de la ninez y adolescencia en la accion humanitaria (la Alianza) es una red mundial de organismos operativos, instituciones academicas, responsables politicos, donantes y profesionales. Su mision es apoyar los esfuerzos de los participantes humanitarios para lograr intervenciones de proteccion infantil efectivas y de alta calidad en contextos humanitarios, tanto en situaciones de refugiados como de no refugiados. La Alianza logra esto principalmente al facilitar la colaboracion entre organismos sobre proteccion infantil y al producir normas y herramientas tecnicas.
