L'edition 2019 des Standards Minimums pour la Protection de l'Enfance dans l'intervention humanitaire (SMPE) est un 'guichet unique' pour toutes les ressources les plus recentes sur la protection de l'enfance. Les SMPE ont pour objectif de renforcer la qualite et la redevabilite des programmes de protection de l'enfance et d'ameliorer les approches multi-sectorielles concernant la securite et le bien-etre des enfants. Cette nouvelle edition renforce l'importance des principes, des preuves et de la prevention, et accroit leur application dans les contextes de refugies et d'epidemies de maladies infectieuses. Les standards SMPE sont regroupes sous quatre piliers : garantir une intervention en matiere de protection de l'enfance de qualite, comprendre les risques, developper des strategies adequates, et collaborer entre les differents secteurs. Qu'il s'agisse de planifier une reponse rapide ou de chercher des moyens d'ameliorer le bien-etre des enfants pendant une crise prolongee, ce manuel fournit des actions, indicateurs et notes d'orientation cles sur un ensemble d'approches, et des liens vers des ressources supplementaires. Ce manuel doit etre utilise par les acteurs humanitaires - y compris ceux dans les groupes communautaires, les organisations non gouvernementales, le personnel gouvernemental, les decideurs politiques, les donateurs, et ceux qui travaillent dans le domaine du plaidoyer, des medias ou de la communication - ainsi que les etudiants et chercheurs. L'Alliance pour la Protection de l'enfance dans l'action humanitaire (l'Alliance) est un reseau mondial d'agences operationnelles, d'institutions academiques, de decideurs, de bailleurs et de praticiens. Sa mission est de soutenir les efforts deployes par les acteurs humanitaires avec pour objectif de mener a bien des interventions de protection des enfants efficaces et de qualite dans des contextes humanitaires avec ou sans presence de refugies. L'Alliance accomplit essentiellement cette mission en facilitant la collaboration inter-agences dans le domaine de la protection de l'enfance et en developpant des standards et des outils techniques.
